"The Incubator" will be 1st building at Alconbury Enterprise Campus

Cambridgeshire (UK) county council gave the go-ahead this week to plans for The Incubator, the first building in The Enterprise Campus in the region's Alconbury Enterprise Zone. The building will provide 15,000 sq ft of flexible space for startups and small businesses and is due to be ready in December 2013. This approval was fast-tracked in about 5 weeks, much less than council's typical 13 weeks.

The Alconbury Enterprise Campus is planned to ultimately offer 3 million sq. ft. of business space on a 150 hectare site.  The UK government is setting up a number of 'enterprise zones'. More details on the Alconbury one can be found here and here.
