Imagine K12 accelerator application deadline looms

Imagine K12 accelerator based in Palo Alto focuses on startups that develop products to help schools, teachers, parents and students improve educational outcomes.They're accepting applications for their January through mid-April 2013 cohort but the deadline is October 29, only a few days away. Companies that get accepted receive from $14k to $20k depending on the number of founders and need to be in the Bay area for the duration of the program.

Imagine K12 takes a 6% equity stake in return. Unlike many accelerators, they don't provide office space for their companies but do provide mentoring and a series of events throughout the cycle. Their first cohort was in 2011.
