Happy first anniversary to Calgary's AcceleratorYYC!

AcceleratorYYC is celebrating its first anniversary this Friday with a special startup showcase.

AcceleratorYYC is a pre-launch/pre-product program and co-working space in Calgary, Canada. Or to put it another way: "AcceleratorYYC is about providing the resources needed to answer the question 'I've quit my job - I'm in a startup - What now?'"

One year on, and the accelerator is ready to show of its successes at -- the appropriately named -- First Anniversary Celebration and Startup Slyngshot Showcase.

There will be a pitch panel for Startup Slyngshot participants. The 4-phase program, which launched October 1st, promotes and encourages the growth of startup companies at any level.
