Foundation issues funding challenge to Ohio incubator
The Technology Entrepreneurial Center of Hudson (TECHudson) has been given a challenge. If the Hudson, Ohio-based incubator can raise $20,000 by November 30th, the Burton D. Morgan Foundation will give TECHudson an additional $10,000.
“TECHudson has gained real traction in the last year through strategic partnerships with Youngstown Business Incubator, JumpStart, and other regional start-up organizations,” said Deborah D. Hoover, the Foundation's president and CEO.
"These relationships place TECHudson squarely in the mix of the region’s robust entrepreneurial ecosystem and its steady flow of opportunities. The foundation offered a Challenge Grant at this critical juncture to help TECHudson to share its vision with potential donors and raise additional resources needed to build the incubator's service platform for technology-focused entrepreneurs.”
The money would be used to support TECHudson's programs and services.
The Burton D. Morgan Foundation invests in organizations and institutions that support entrepreneurs.
