Coachella Valley iHub incubator to open manufacturing campus

The Coachella Valley iHub incubator (pictured here)  based in Palm Springs, CA, will be able to offer a low-cost manufacturing space for its clients at a 10,000-square-foot "accelerator campus". The local city council this week agreed to lease the site to the incubator and to pay the first year's rent (worth about $28K). Plus city council will provide $45k for improvements to the building. This was based on a recommendation by city staff which can be found here. The location is on land owned by the Palm Springs International Airport.

Joe Wallace, general manager of the iHub, hopes to have the accelerator open by early next year.
