Accelerate Michigan application deadline looms

Not long ago we wrote about one of the richest seed accelerator competitions out there: the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition. If you haven't applied, time is fast running out: the deadline is August 15. Cancel your weekend plans and get those applications in! The 1st place winner gets $500k and the total for all winners is $1million.

Knight named president of RocketSpace

San Francisco's RocketSpace accelerator has named Karl Knight as its new president and chief financial officer. Knight was previously the managing director of Recurrent Energy and before that was CFO at Regenesis Power. Knight joins CEO Duncan Logan, COO Todd Elsberg, CRO (chief revenue officer) Eryc Branham on RocketSpace's management team. That's a lot of chiefs. Knight will be responsible for RocketSpace’s finances and strategy.
